Cornwall Go Tournament 2019

Saturday AM: A teaching event will take place on Saturday morning, from 10:00 to 12:30. This may include game analysis (so please bring your recorded games). Cost: £6 (con £3).

Saturday PM: A rapid handicap tournament for the Dominic Taylor trophy.
Several rounds of 20min each, sudden death.
Entry £12 (concessionary rate £6).

Those who wish, can carry on playing informally through the evening.

Sunday: A three round, A rated, McMahon tournament for the 'Devon Go Stone' (on loan from the Devon Go Club)
65min each and 20 stones in 5min overtime.
Entry £22 (con £11) including lunch.

Before and After: Please let us know if you plan be in Cornwall before or after the tournament and would like to play go. Our normal club night is Thursday and the Mid Cornwall club meets on Tuesday.

• The Falmouth Hotel has rooms. Tell them you are coming to the tournament and they might offer a reduced price.

Falmouth is on a branch line, change at Truro. You can see two stations near the Falmouth Hotel on this map

A buffet lunch will be provided on Sunday. There is a varied menu available in The Falmouth Hotel in the evening and Falmouth in general has plenty of eating places.

• Full: Saturday AM teaching £6 | Saturday PM rapid £12 | Sunday main tournament £22

Non BGA members add £1.50/day

The concessionary rate is for anyone who can't afford the full rate. Conversely, wealthy students or pensioners please pay the full rate. Both rates include lunch on Sunday.
